PermaDAO Weekly #20 (6.16-6.22)

Dear PermaDAO community members,

Let's welcome the newcomers to PermaDAO and hope that they will learn more about DAO. After that, they can be actively involved in building PermaDAO and the Arweave ecosystem in the future. Arweave Summer Hackathon is also in full swing, with the first session completed this week, so let's look forward to more exciting things to come.

Workload Overview

The work accomplished by various guilds within PermaDAO last week is as follows:

The Content Guild has accomplished 30 tasks.
- The Translation Group has translated 8 articles.
- The Creative Group has completed 2 tasks.
- The Submission Group has approved 20 submissions of ecosystem-related articles.
The Activities Guild has finished 3 events.
The R&D Guild has finished 1 tasks.
The Branding & Promotion Guild has disseminated 236 articles.
The PSPC Guild has finished 2 tasks.

PermaDAO has distributed 494.83 $AR tokens in total to dedicated volunteers, and we encourage them to persevere!

Notable Events

1. PermaDAO founder outprog participated in the Midaswap DeFi Night Space

On the 20th of June, PermaDAO founder outprog joined the Space co-hosted by Midaswap and BuidlerDAO with three guests, iZUMI CEO, DODO researcher and Upchain CEO, for a comprehensive discussion on the update of UniSwap V4, an important project for the Defi circuit.

2. Mind Network received investment from Binance Labs

On 20 June, Binance Labs Fund announced an investment in Mind Network, a PermaDAO partner and one of Arweave SCP Ventures' investments, which aims to build a lake of open data privacy. Of the more than 900 projects that competed, only five, including Mind Network, won, with an average acceptance rate of less than 2%.

3. PermaDAO launches its first boot camp

PermaDAO kicked off its first bootcamp on 21 June, which included an introduction to PermaDAO, how to collaborate, how to participate, and a ton more. In addition, this bootcamp included motivating newbie tasks, aiming to enbale people who are new to Arweave and DAO to get familiar with PermaDAO quickly, and to help you onboard PermaDAO!

4. Arweave Asia Summer Hackathon kicked off with the first session

The Arweave Asia Summer Hackathon kicked off last week with PermaDAO's "Arweave Eco Fundamentals Sharing" session on June 22nd at 9pm BST. The three instructors gave a detailed introduction to the key technologies, consensus protocols and ecological projects of Arweave, allowing participants to quickly understand the current state of Arweave and its ecology and build their knowledge for their own projects later on.
