With the arrival of summer, discussions about the Arweave ecosystem continue to heat up, unaffected by the bearish market environment. Last week, PermaDAO received a special report from the well-known overseas crypto media Cointime, which garnered wide publicity. The long-awaited Arweave Asia Summer Hackathon has officially begun, accompanied by the scorching heat of summer. At the same time, as the representative of Chinese-speaking DAO organizations, PermaDAO is also conducting a new round of global recruitment, looking forward to the participation of more outstanding partners!

Workload Overview

The work accomplished by various guilds within PermaDAO last week is as follows:

Content Guild completed a total of 14 tasks.
- The Translation Group translated 4 articles.
- The Creative Group completed 2 tasks.
- The Submission Group approved 8 ecological content article submissions.
The Activities Guild conducted 2 online events last week.
The R&D Guild completed 1 development task.
The Branding & Promotion Guild conducted 288 promotions.

Last week, PermaDAO distributed a total of 816.189 $AR tokens to the hardworking volunteers, hoping that they will continue their efforts!

Important Events

1. Cointime's Special Report on PermaDAO

Cointime, an internationally renowned crypto media incubated by the investment institution ABCDE, published a special report on PermaDAO titled "PermaDAO: A Loyal Promoter of the Arweave Ecosystem" on June 16. The article discussed several aspects of Arweave, including permanent storage, data tamper resistance, low-cost storage, decentralized application support, scalability, and performance. It also elaborated on the decentralized decision-making, transparency and fairness, community participation and motivation, autonomous operation, and sustainability aspects of the DAO model. As a DAO organization built on the Arweave ecosystem by strangers, PermaDAO's future-oriented organizational structure will provide the driving force for the growth of the Arweave ecosystem.

2. Arweave Asia Summer Hackathon Officially Begins

On June 15th, the Arweave Asia Summer Hackathon officially started amidst great anticipation. Founders of Arweave, everVision, MaskNetwork's CTO, and ReadON's CTO delivered four exciting keynote speeches. This hackathon will continue until the end of July, featuring numerous free public courses and high-quality sharing from industry experts. We look forward to the emergence of amazing Arweave ecosystem products during the hackathon!

3. PermaDAO Recruitment in Progress

PermaDAO has gained high popularity on the well-known Web3 job platform SmartDeer, surpassing other renowned Chinese-speaking DAO organizations. Currently, multiple positions are open, including investment researchers, branding&promotion executors, and developers, offering flexibility in forms and abundant opportunities.
